AI Policy
Effective Date: 1 September 2026
Our Stance
SOLVARA takes a consent-first stance on artificial intelligence.
We believe the ethical concerns about AI are legitimate, particularly around creative ownership, environmental impact and the displacement of skilled workers. We are conscious of these concerns alongside our use of it, internally within our team and externally with clients.
As an organization, we use artificial intelligence tools intentionally, sparingly and never in place of strategic, creative or directional thinking.
Consent & Boundaries
We do not use AI in work we produce without your consent.
If you would prefer we avoid AI entirely, we will limit its use to the unavoidable platform features described in the section below, which cannot be switched off.
If you are open to using AI, we will first understand how and where you want it to be used. We record your preferences at the start of the project and work within them for the full engagement.
You can change your preferences at any time by contacting your project manager. In some cases, we may need to revise the project timeline and/or fee to accommodate these changes.
Where AI Is Unavoidable
AI is built into many of the platforms our work depends on, including but not limited to Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify, Figma, Adobe, Slack, Google and Meta. Some AI features cannot be disabled, which is why we cannot promise a completely AI-free process.
What We Do Not Use AI For
We do not use AI to:
- Generate logos, logomarks, graphics, illustrations, mockups, websites or final brand identity assets
- Draft or publish anything written without a human approving it first
- Think creatively or strategically for us
- Directly respond to emails, messages or comments
- Create synthetic voiceovers or avatars
- Generate engagement, followers or automated comments and direct messages
